The Chinese Forensic Science and Technology Development Forum was held in Jinci, Taiyuan, which was sponsored by the Chinese Forensic Medicine Association and Higher Education Teaching Steering Committee of Forensic Science, Ministry of Education, and jointly organized by our school and Hebei Medical University.
The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by more than 400 leaders and experts from 33 forensic medicine undergraduate majors and 52 postgraduate training units, other colleges, provincial and municipal public security organs, courts, procuratorates and forensic science centers, including Xiong Jijun, Deputy Governor of Shanxi Provincial People 's Government ; Cong Bin, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering ; Lin Huiqing, Former Deputy Minister of Education ; Yang Qing, Director of Science and Technology Education Department of National Health Commission ; Zheng Zhenyu, Deputy Director of Public Legal Service Administration of the Ministry of Justice ; Li Yunce, Secondary Technical Director of Inspection Technology Information Research Center of the Supreme People 's Procuratorate ; Shi Pengjian, Former Director of National College Students ' Information Consultation and Employment Guidance Center ; Qi Yulai, Investigator of the Fifth Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security ; Wang Kui, Investigator of the Supreme People 's Court ; Yu Zhongshan, Zhang Lin and Hou Yiping, the relevant experts of the organizers ; Yang Jun, Yin Yanxiang, Zhang Yong, Zhang Jiankang, Zhao Xin and Zhao Yadi, the leaders of the relevant departments of Shanxi Province. At the ceremony, Wang Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee of our school delivered a welcome speech. Since then, Xiong Jijun, Lin Huiqing, Yang Qing, Li Yunce, Zheng Zhenyu, Qi Yulai and Cong Bin delivered speeches respectively. Prof. Xie Jun, the president of our school, presided over the opening ceremony.
The conference reviewed the glorious historical process of the development of forensic medicine in China, such as the establishment of the Medical Textbook Compilation and Review Committee of the Ministry of Health, the Forensic Medicine Group of the Committee, the enrollment of forensic teacher training classes and the setting of forensic medicine compulsory courses in medical universities. In addition,itspoke highly of the outstanding contributions made by a large number of pioneers of the first generation of forensic medicine in the People 'sRepublic of China,including Hu Bingwei, Liu Mingjun, Wu Meiyun, Wu Jiawen, Zhang Qiying, Zhu Jiazhen, Guo Jingyuan, Xu Yinghan, Jia Jingtao, Li Dexiang, Huang Guangguang and Jing Min.Some experts and scholars made special reports, introduced the development process of forensic medicine discipline construction, shared the latest development achievements of forensic industry, and put forward new thinking on the future development of China 's forensic industry.
At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded the“ Chinese Forensic Medicine Outstanding Contribution Award ” to eight comrades, including Wang Lei, Lin Huiqing, Liu Yao, Cong Bin, Guo Jingyuan, Wu Meiyun, Xu Yinghan and Jing Min, who have made great contributions to the development of Chinese forensic medicine.
This conference is the highest-level national conference to promote the development of forensic science and technology in the new era after the 1983 National Symposium on Higher Forensic Professional Education ( Jinci Conference ).The conference reviewed and summarized the achievements of forensic education, scientific research and social services in China in the past 40 years since the Jinci Conference was held. It drew a blueprint for the future development of forensic medicine in the new era, put forward new concepts, new connotations and new positioning of forensic medicine, and reached a consensus among the participating experts. At the meeting, the “ Jinci Declaration of Chinese Forensic Medicine ” was issued,which is a milestone in the development of Chinese forensic science and technology.
The forum lasted for two days. In addition to the main forum, three sub-forums were set up around the issues related to the development of forensic science and technology in China, and the field exchange meeting of forensic science and technology was held at the same time.
